I'm not dead, I'm almost one year older.

Tue Dec 2, 2008, 11:01 PM
Hey guys, I'm breathing and alive. Sorry for not updating very much.
I got a new poem up tonight, but you may nto like it. I just wanted to try a new style. I like it alot, but it's too much swearing for a poem I think. I prefer the cleaner versions, but I enjoyed my ideas in this one a lot. Still, give me your thoughts.
Is it obvious I was inspired by Panic at the Disco's older music? :] XD

GUESS WHAT?
My birthday's on SATURDAY!
I will be 14, FINALLYYYYYY!
Having a small party, I'll tell ya how it goes. ;P

After seeing Twilight, I finished Eclipse and actually enjoyed it. Now i'm reading Eclipse from the Warriors series.

BECKA OUT.

Twilight.... [spoilers]

Sun Nov 23, 2008, 7:43 PM
was perfect.
Period.

I just got back.
They couldn't have gotten better actors, especially Edward. He could've been more attractive, but he was the PERFECT Edward. he acted exactly like Edward was supposed to; same goes to the rest of them.
I thought the ending with Victoria was very clever and amazing.
The fight scene was PHENOMINAL.

My mom's obsessed with vampires now. XD She wants to read the books.

Haha.
It was amazing, the end. Go see it.

I've been going through a lot lately.
To support me, please read and comment on my poems.
I have strong feelings I vent through poetry, and you may relate as well.
I'm too downcast to say anything else.
See ya, ily.

Poetry

Fri Nov 7, 2008, 5:25 PM
My friend Maddy recently REALLY got me into poetry.
Please please PLEASE read my poems. You might be able to really relate to them like I can. It's a good way for me to vent, though sometimes I exaggerate my emotions.

The thing I want most, though, is critique. Not harsh critique, but things that you liked and things you think didn't work out so well. If you did/didn't like something, explain why. I really hope to improve on my poems!

Please and thank you. <3

Obama '08

Tue Nov 4, 2008, 10:08 PM
McCain fans, please don't bash.
Racists don't bash either.

How happy I am that Obama was elected the 44th president of the United States. Both McCain and Obama had fabulous speeches after the results were announced. I applaud them both. Personally, my family was for Obama, but bless McCain for making it so far.

To think, that fifty years ago, blacks couldn't even vote, and now... to have one of color as PRESIDENT... that fact alone made me unbelievably emotional. The United States is changing, and maybe someday, we will all be seen equally among every citizen. That is the ultimate goal, I suppose.

I believe that everything happens for a reason. And when Bush was elected for a second time, I wondered what positives that held. But now, my own opinion/theory is that he was elected so Obama could be elected this time. I truly, whole-heartedly believe that Obama will be our hero, our lifesaver, the change we've been waiting for.

I really can't describe it. But I had to get some of my feelings out.
